Saint Francis - Reception

St Francis was special because he showed kindness to everyone - people, animals, and the Earth!
He believed that all creatures are part of God's family and should be treated with love and care.
Kind to people - He helped the poor, shared what he had, and taught others to love and forgive.
Kind to animals - He spoke gently to birds and cared for sick animals. There's even a story about him calming a fierce wolf!
Kind to the Earth - He thanked God for the sun, moon and nature, seeing them as gifts to care for.
St Francis teaches us that small acts of kindness make the world brighter.

Mother Teresa - Year 1 & 2

Mother Teresa was special because she spent her whole life helping people in need.
She showed kindness by caring for the sick, feeding the hungry and comforting those who felt alone.
Kind to the poor - She gave food, shelter and love to people who had nothing.
Kind with her words - She spoke gently and made everyone feel special.
Kind with her actions - She worked hard every day to help others, showing that even small acts of kindness can change the world.
Mother Teresa reminds us that being kind doesn't have to be big - just helping one person at a time makes a difference!

Saint Bernadette -  Year 3

St Bernadette was special because she showed humility - she never thought she was more important than others and always trusted in God.
She was a simple girl - she grew up poor and didn't have much, but she was happy with what she had.
She listened to Mary - when the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to her, she humbly shared the message, even when people didn't believe her.
She stayed kind and faithful - even when she became famous, she never wanted special treatment. She chose to live quietly and serve others.
St Bernadette teaches us that being humble means trusting in God and thinking of others before ourselves.

Saint Peter - Year 4

St Peter was special because he learned about forgiveness - God's love is bigger than any mistake!
He wasn't Jesus' friend - Peter followed Jesus and wanted to do what was right.
He made a mistake - when Jesus was arrested, Peter got scared and said he didn't know him.
Jesus forgave him - After rising from the dead, Jesus asked Peter three times, 'Do you love me?' to show that He forgave him completely.
St Peter teaches us that God always forgives us when we say sorry, and we should forgive others too.

Saint Therese of Liseaux - Year 5

St Therese was special because she found peace in loving God and doing small things with great love.
She stayed calm and kind - even when things were hard, she trusted God and didn't worry.
She believed in the 'Little Way'- she knew that small acts of love, like a smile or a kind word, could bring peace to others.
She prayed for everyone - She wanted people to feel Gods' love and peace in their hearts.
St Therese teaches us that peace comes from trusting God and spreading love in little ways.

Saint Paul - Year 6

St Paul was special because he showed courage. He never gave up, even when things were difficult!
He changed his heart - at first, Paul did not believe in Jesus, but when Jesus spoke to him, he bravely changed his ways and followed him.
He travelled far - Paul went to many places to tell people about Jesus, even when it was dangerous.
He never gave up - even when he was in prison or faces hardships, he kept sharing Gods' love.
St Paul teaches us that being brave means standing up for what is right and trusting in God.
